Trinity Church

  • 206 Clarendon Street Boston, MA, 02116 United States (map)

Completed in 1877, Trinity Church is considered a masterpiece of church architecture for its Richardsonian Romanesque design, La Farge murals, and stained glass windows by a variety of artists.  Annually, more than 70,000 people visit this National Historic Landmark, to tour, pray, or take part in the worship, music, lectures, and community service activities of this thriving Episcopal parish. The Undercroft, design by Goody Clancy in 2011, deepened and widened the shallow basement, exposing the pyramidal bases of four granite piers that support the church above.
Guided tours by volunteer guides or self-guided tours of the building are offered. Mention Common Boston for complimentary admission
