Y2Y is the country’s first student-run shelter for young adults experiencing homelessness. Development of the design incorporated workshops with youth; the resulting innovative shelter has no gender-identified dorms or bathrooms, and each individual bunk has its own light, phone charging station, and storage spot. The operation of the shelter, which serves young adults from all backgrounds, is made possible largely due to community support.
