Eliot Hall and the Footlight Club

  • 7A Eliot Street Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130 United States (map)

Eliot Hall, an architecturally notable Greek Revival building, has been an integral part of the life and history of Jamaica Plain since its original construction as a public meeting hall in 1831. In 1878, Eliot Hall became the home of America’s oldest community theater, the Footlight Club. Today the Footlight Club draws its membership from Jamaica Plain and surrounding Boston neighborhoods and community members that come together to perform, enjoy, and support the amateur productions and activities that make up live theater.

Tours will be ongoing on Saturday. Presentation scheduled for Saturday at 1pm, no registration necessary.

Saturday only.
