Located in Boston’s South End, Girard is a new residential property brought to life by New Atlantic Development with architecture by Utile. The 7-story rental building is inspired by 20th century masters including Eames, Knoll and Nelson. Featuring 160 homes, Girard exhibits high-quality contemporary design that embraces a rich diversity of influences – including crisp geometric detailing, organic folk art and compelling works from local artists. Girard’s overall design is unique in the sense that it honors the historic context of the South End, while also remaining true to a more contemporary expression and ideals. The façade emulates the historic Victorian details of the South End, while the interior, furnished by Herman Miller, features legendary pieces that offer style and comfort, complementing Girard’s authentic design.
